The Greatest Love Story
I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with unfailing kindness.
This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.
Every great love story has a pursuer. Someone who sees the other, chooses them, and refuses to let go.
This morning, remember the greatest love story ever written is still being told — and you are in it. Long before you ever turned toward Him, God set His love on you. He drew you with kindness. He came after you when you were running the other way. And on the cross, He proved the depth of that love by giving everything.
This is not a distant fairy tale. It is a living romance between the Creator and the one He calls beloved. He knows your name. He sees every page of your story. And He is still writing chapters of grace, forgiveness, and nearness over your life. Today, let yourself be loved. Not for what you do, but simply because you are His.
Sit quietly for a moment and let the truth settle: “He loves me with an everlasting love.”
Thank Jesus for one specific way He has pursued you.
Carry that love into the day — receive it, and let it overflow to someone else.
Lord, thank You for loving me with an everlasting love. Thank You for the cross that proves it. Draw me close again today. Help me rest in being fully known and fully loved by You. I receive Your love. Amen.
