Rest in God’s Presence
Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.
The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth.
Ever have a day when you’re running on empty, like you forgot to plug in your energy overnight? Life’s demands can wear us thin, but God’s presence is like a quiet porch swing, inviting you to sit and breathe. Picture Jesus, with a warm smile, offering a seat beside Him, saying, “Rest here, I’m with you.” His authority wraps your heart in peace, gently calling others to draw near too. His presence, constant through every rush, restores your strength and renews your joy. How has God’s nearness calmed your heart today?
Pray, thanking Jesus for a time His presence refreshed you, and ask Him to fill your heart with peace today.
Share a comforting act (e.g., a kind word, a prayer) with someone feeling overwhelmed, and post it with #JRTyndaleMinistries to encourage others.
Lord, thank You for Your presence that restores me. Help me seek Your rest and invite others to Your peace. “You make known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence” (Psalm 16:11 NIV). Amen.
