Rejoice in the Lord
This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.
Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!
Joy does not have to wait for everything to line up. Paul said rejoice in the Lord always — then he said it again, because we forget. Not rejoice in the mood. Rejoice in the Lord! He is the reason! He is the good news! He is still faithful.
This is the day the Lord has made. That alone is enough to lift a head. Breath in your lungs. Mercy that did not run out overnight. A Savior who has not left you. Gladness is not fake when it is aimed at Him. It is worship. It is a heart remembering who holds the day. Smile if you can. Give thanks if that is all you have. Rejoice in the Lord! He is worthy of it!!
Say out loud, “This is the day the Lord has made.”
Thank Him for three simple gifts you can see.
Share a word of joy with someone else.
Lord, I rejoice in You. Thank You for this day You have made. Thank You for life, for mercy, and for Your presence. You are good, and Your love endures. Fill my heart with gladness that is rooted in You, not in circumstances. Teach me to praise You with a sincere heart. I am grateful. I am Yours. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
