Receive God’s Free Gift
For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God.
Salvation is like a beautifully wrapped gift you didn’t expect, handed to you with love. Picture Jesus holding it out, saying, “This is for you, just take it.” The gospel shows it’s free—He paid for it on the cross, covering your sins so you could have eternal life without earning it. You can’t work hard enough to deserve it, like trying to pay for a gift someone already bought for you. That truth hits your heart deep, melting away the worry that you need to be “good enough.” “God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8 NIV). All He asks is that you receive it by faith, trusting Him. That gift changes everything, filling you with peace and a reason to share His love. How’s God’s free gift of salvation lifting you today?
