Know Christ Personally
For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.
And this is eternal life, that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent.
No amount of good deeds can get you to Heaven—it’s like trying to climb a mountain you’ll never reach. Picture Jesus sitting with you, His voice gentle, saying, “It’s not about what you do; it’s about knowing Me.” The gospel shouts this truth: He paid it all on the cross, giving you salvation as a free gift. “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16 NIV). It’s not your works that save you, but faith in Him. “He saved us, not because of the righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy” (Titus 3:5 NLT). That truth sinks deep, freeing you from the pressure to earn God’s love. Heaven is about a personal relationship with Jesus—talking to Him, trusting Him, walking with Him every day. His Spirit draws you close, making eternal life start right now by knowing Him. “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me” (John 14:6 ESV).
