Give Thanks for Freedom
It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.
Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people he chose for his inheritance.
Today, as we celebrate Independence Day, we reflect on the freedom we have in Christ and the blessings of our nation. Jesus paid the ultimate price for our spiritual freedom, releasing us from sin’s chains. As we honor our country’s liberty, let’s also give thanks for the eternal freedom found in Him. How does Christ’s freedom inspire your gratitude today?
Pray, giving thanks for both spiritual and national freedom, and ask for His guidance.
Show appreciation to someone who serves (e.g., a veteran, first responder) with a kind gesture, and share it with #JRTyndaleMinistries.
Lord, thank You for the freedom we have in You and in this nation. Guide us to live for You and honor others. “The Spirit of the Lord is on me… to proclaim freedom for the captives” (Luke 4:18 NIV).
Comment or share how you’re thankful for freedom with #JRTyndaleMinistries. Let’s honor God’s gift!
