Defeat the Enemy with Praise

☀ FAITH COMPASS
ACTS 16:25-26 NIV

About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God… Suddenly there was such a violent earthquake that the foundations of the prison were shaken.

PSALM 149:6 NIV

Let the high praises of God be in their throats and a double-edged sword in their hands.

☀ MORNING LIGHT

Praise and worship are like a weapon that pushes back the enemy’s lies. Picture Paul and Silas, locked in prison, singing to God in the dark— their worship shook the chains loose! The gospel shows Jesus crushed the enemy’s power on the cross, and when you lift up His name in praise, that victory comes alive in your life. That truth grabs your heart, reminding you that singing, praying, or even whispering thanks to God shifts the battle. The enemy wants you stuck in fear or doubt, but your worship lifts you above it, declaring Jesus is King. Every note, every word of praise, invites His Spirit to fight for you. How’s your praise defeating the enemy today?
