Cradled in God’s Rest
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures.
Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
Hey there, friends, family, and anyone I’d give a nod across a crowded room, it’s Thursday, and your heart’s like a soft pillow, cradled in God’s rest. Life’s a heavy load sometimes, but Jesus is calling, “Sit with Me, let’s breathe.” His Gospel’s the comfort—He carried your weight on the cross (1 Peter 5:7 NLT). Ever feel His peace settle you, like sinking into a chair after a long day? That rest is yours to share. “Return to your rest, my soul, for the Lord has been good to you” (Psalm 116:7 NIV). Like handing a friend a cup of coffee with a quiet smile, your calm can spark their faith. What’s God’s rest soothing in your heart today? Who needs His Gospel to find that peace?
Rest in His peace—pray for calm or offer a kind word to someone weary.
Share a moment His rest held you with #JRTyndaleMinistries.
Jesus, thanks for cradling my heart in Your rest. Help me share Your Gospel. “You are my hiding place” (Psalm 32:7 NIV).
